12th Annual Parkview Panda Prance 5K Run/Walk (In-person & Virtual)

The 12th Annual Parkview Panda Prance 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 8:30 am (race time). $25 entry fee including t-shirt through 2/18. Price goes up to $35 on 2/19 and a t-shirt is not guaranteed. A special kids rate (13 and under) of only $15 with no t-shirt is available. The start/finish line will be at Parkview Prep Academy (109 A Miracle Ave., Avon Park, FL). Racers may also participate virtually if they choose so (see below). Sponsorship opportunities are available here. All proceeds will be going into the Parkview Prep Academy Building Fund. Virtual racing option: The actual racing course is 2.4 miles. You will be able to complete your 2.4 mile or 4k run/walk distance between February 1st and March 7th on a route in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, in your house, around your yard, or a course. After running/walking, you will email us your name, age, and time. This can be done by using an app on your phone, Fitbit, Apple watch, etc. and taking a screenshot or picture of the time, date, etc. There are a ton of apps out there that measure your distance and time very easily. Some of the apps include: MapMyRun, RunTracker, Runkeeper, Nike Run Club, Strava, and so on. The email address is: parkviewprek@gmail.com. In your email, you must include your name, age, time, and picture of your time and distance. To register for the race, fill out this registration form. Once we receive everyone’s times, we will then rank everyone’s times and declare the winners of the medals on March 7th following the in-person run. Medals, shirts (if purchased), and bags may be picked up on Saturday, March 7th from 7:30am to approximately 10:00am at Parkview Prep Academy. We will also be raffling off great prizes and popular gift cards immediately following the medal presentation on March 7th.
